Vineyards-Guincho Coastal Loop in Cascais
From quiet countryside vineyards to the coast of Guincho.
This “Smaller Loop” starts along the historic vineyards trail near the Bikerist 🚲 Bike Rental shop before heading toward the viewpoint at Parque Urbano das Penhas do Marmeleiro. Along the way, you’ll ride through quiet natural landscapes with views over the hills surrounding Cascais. From the viewpoint, the route continues toward the wild coastline and atlantic breeze of Guincho Beach before returning along the coast. The second part of the route follows the bike path with a comfortable tailwind, making the ride back effortless and enjoyable.

Starting just outside Cascais, this trail passes through the historic vineyards of Quinta do Pisão, offering a quiet ride through one of the region’s more traditional countryside landscapes and a glimpse into its rural heritage.
Nice viewpoint on the Vineyard Trail with views over the green valley and the wooden path along the hillside.
Cresmina Dune is a beautiful sandy spot near Guincho, with natural dunes and a peaceful path to the beach.
Guincho is known for its wide sandy shoreline, rolling dunes, and strong Atlantic winds. The beach also became internationally recognizable after appearing in a classic James Bond film, adding a cinematic touch to one of the most iconic coastal spots near Cascais.
Originally formed as a sea cave carved by the Atlantic Ocean, Boca do Inferno is now a well-known coastal stop near Cascais, where waves surge through the rocky cliffs and fill the area with the sound of the ocean.
Riding through Santa Marta means passing scenic ocean viewpoints, charming coves, and one of the most photogenic coastal areas in Cascais.
